The patched files are downloaded to your "Computer Name/Documents/My Games/ FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn" folder (if on Windows 10). Once each .patch file is downloaded, it will uncompress said file into your game installation directory wherever that may be on your own system.
